Who I Work With
Do you feel like you’re carrying the weight of everything on your own? Maybe anxiety is leaving you feeling overwhelmed, your relationships feel strained, or you’ve found yourself relying on unhealthy coping strategies just to get through the day. On the outside, it may look like you’re holding it all together, while internally you feel exhausted, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that are hard to break.
Sometimes people become so used to surviving that they forget what it feels like to truly feel okay. Therapy can be a space where you no longer have to keep everything bottled up or pretend you’re fine when you’re not. A space where you can slow down, be honest about what you’re carrying, and feel supported without judgment.
Hi, I’m Holly. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with Embolden Mental Health & Psychotherapy. I believe healing begins with feeling genuinely seen, heard, and accepted for who you are. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where you can show up authentically and feel safe exploring whatever life has placed in front of you.
Over the past five years, I’ve worked alongside adults navigating addiction, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation difficulties, and relationship concerns. Through this work, I’ve learned that meaningful change doesn’t come from having all the “right” answers, it comes from feeling safe enough to be honest about what you’re going through. I understand how difficult it can be to ask for help, especially when you’re used to carrying things on your own.
In our work together, we’ll explore the experiences, emotions, and patterns that may be contributing to your distress while building coping strategies that feel realistic and sustainable for your life.
My Approach
Holly has experience supporting individuals with complex mental health and addiction concerns across residential care, community mental health programs, and addiction treatment settings. She has provided individual and group counselling, crisis intervention, assessments, and ongoing support for individuals navigating difficult periods in their lives.
Her clinical experience includes supporting individuals with substance use and concurrent mental health concerns, emotion regulation difficulties, relationship challenges, suicidality, and life transitions. Holly integrates approaches such as motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, harm reduction, and trauma-informed care, while tailoring therapy to each client’s unique needs and experiences.
Holly believes therapy is not about perfection or “fixing” someone, it’s about creating space for self-understanding, healing, and meaningful change. She strives to offer a compassionate, down-to-earth approach where clients feel comfortable being themselves and supported in navigating life’s challenges.
